On-Line Application Hints & Tips
Helpful Information
1. Review Required Documents for Your project type
Determine project type and follow the instructions for that specific project before entering the on-line portal. Each required document is explained and can be downloaded from the webpage for the specific project type.
2.Organize Your Documents
Save all documents in one location on your computer. Ensure each file has a unique name and is saved in PDF format. There is a 16 MB limit per file.
3.Prepare Before Starting the Application
Do not begin the application in the portal until you have all required materials ready. The system does not allow you to save a partial application—if you exit, you will need to start over.
4.Uploading Additional Documents
The portal typically provides upload fields only for standard required documents. If you have additional materials specific to your project:
-
Combine them with a related required document.
-
Upload them as additional pages within that file.
Example: If a complete plat map is required for your project but there’s no dedicated upload field, include it as extra pages within your site map file.
5.Contractors and subcontractors
If a contractor or subcontractor does not show up in the drop down menu in the portal, it means they are new to our area and need to create a contractor file with us OR they have not updated their credentials. In either case, we need a copy of their current DSPS license(s) along with their contact details. This can be emailed to office@allcroix.com.
6. browser type
Please use Chrome or Firefox.
7. VERY IMPORTANT-Confirmation
You will get an Application # in a POP UP WINDOW upon
a successful submission. All Croix, or the City/Village your
project is in, will contact you when your permit is ready or if
there are application questions.
