EV CHARGER PERMIT APPLICATION PROCESS

Electric vehicle (EV) charging stations allow the recharging of electric or electric-hybrid vehicles at residential homes and commercial facilities.

A permit must be obtained for a property owner to install, replace or alter an electrical vehicle (EV) charging station at their home (for personal use) or place of business (for public use) anytime a change to the existing electrical wiring or a new extension of electrical wiring is required.
